Horácio Frutuoso (/ɔˈɾa.sju fɾuˈtu.o.zu/) lives and works in Lisbon, Portugal.
Graduated in painting from the Faculty of Fine Arts of Oporto, where was awarded the 2012/2013 acquisition prize. During his time in Oporto, Frutuoso was involved in the direction of several artistic projects, such as Sintoma, Painel, and Expedição. His artistic practice develops in the field of painting and graphic design, exploring codes and symbols of language, historical relationships, and social representations. He has also frequently developed editorial projects, maintaining a regular collaboration with Teatro Praga since 2016.
